I have never been to the Amazon jungle, but I imagine it as twisted and entangled layers of flora and fauna, with a mysterious depth, and an abundance of life forms. To me this painting has a depth that I love. I found myself adding layer after layer, being drawn in deeper and deeper, which was a very satisfying experience.
